Mediclear Surface Defence kills covid-19 germs

Mediclear Surface Defence solution kills Covid-19 Germs

Mediclear’s Surface Defence solution has been specifically developed to kill germs and viruses, including Covid-19. It is proudly Australian made and owned, and is developed and distributed in Torquay, Victoria. Using recyclable containers, it is also biodegradable and is non-hazardous to both you and the environment.

Mediclear’s Surface Defence solution has been included on the ARTG as a Hospital Grade Disinfectant that kills the Covid-19 virus and other germs, as well as a wide range of other nasties including golden staph and salmonella.

We’re proud to say that this product is not only Australian made (all here in Victoria), but is also biodegradable and packaged in recyclable containers. The solution has been developed and packed in Torquay, using the highest quality ingredients and materials.

As a hospital grade surface spray disinfectant, it was developed to attack and kill the Covid-19 virus and other bacteria, therefore stopping the spread of germs. Composed of a 5th generation quat based formula, it is designed for use by cleaners, staff, patients, customers, and families and can be used on a wider range of hard surfaces.

Covid-19 is a pandemic that is not just worrisome for our physical health, but also for our country’s mental state. Gabrielle Sheehan, chair of the mental health organisation One in Five says, “Australia’s rates of suicide is notably higher in Australia than comparable wealthy nations according to the WHO RACGP – Suicide toll highlights mental health challenges. And, Ambulance attendance for self harm / suicide attempts rose demonstratably in 2020 compared with previous years.” Business closures and government shutdowns have all caused great stress, especially to small businesses. Mediclear is a small business that thought maybe we could do something to help keep the doors open!

That’s why we developed Mediclear Surface Defence – a Hospital Grade hard surface sanitiser suitable to use around your home and business – killing the virus within ten minutes. We have developed this product to help keep doors open-protecting jobs, employees and customers, to stop Covid in its tracks, and to keep our businesses up and running.

What are 5th generation Quats? Quat is the more common name for Quaternary Ammonium Compounds, which have antibacterial qualities. Quats are surfactants with cationic (positively charged) ions. Quats are one of the oldest and best ingredients in cleaning and sanitation formulas. Basically, they attack microbes by binding to them, pulling them apart and eating away at them, destroying germs in less than 10 minutes. By using a 5th generation quat we can disinfect surfaces using lower concentrations of chemicals compared to many other products.

Why Mediclear Surface Defence? It’s effective, versatile, and non-hazardous. While it is a hospital grade disinfectant, it is also suitable as a general purpose cleaner in commercial cleaning situations and even domestic households.

It can be used to clean floors, benches, office desks, seats, bathrooms, walls, and a large variety of other hard surfaces including glass, timber, concrete, plastic, ceramic, painted walls and stainless steel, to name a few. It’s the perfect cleaning and sanitation product for any environment, including homes, gyms, sporting venues, restaurants, cafes, pubs and clubs, schools, and offices.

Mediclear Surface Defence is low in toxicity and corrosivity making it user-friendly and suitable for the general public.
